You may not be aware, but research shows that not all patients are benefiting equally from advances in treatment for myeloma. Black patients are at higher risk of developing myeloma but are less likely to be offered new treatments and are also under-represented in clinical trials. To achieve more equal care, we need to work together. The latest findings show better survival when novel therapies are used equitably in patients with myeloma. One of the best ways to help achieve this is through education.

You are invited to join us for the live educational event: “Teaming Up with Your Doctor to Improve Equity in Care for Multiple Myeloma.” A physician, nurse practitioner, and patient advocate will discuss new and emerging treatment options, developing a treatment plan, and clinical-trial eligibility to ensure you are an active participant in decisions with your care team.
