Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in CancerCoachLive. We hope our online education events for cancer patients and their caregivers have given you the information you need to move forward with confidence. If you have questions about our programs, you might find answers in this list of frequently asked questions.

Can I still watch if I missed the live event?

Don’t worry! If you’ve signed up for CancerCoachLive, you will receive an on demand link in your email soon. One of the great benefits of doing online education is that you can access the presentations anytime. All of our sessions are active for at least 6 months after the live event.

Why am I being asked to take a test before and after the program?

This model for online education was originally developed by PlatformQ Health, a leading provider of Continuing Medical Education for doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers. Testing is required for receiving CME credits, but we’ve found that pre and post tests help participants retain information. They also help us continue to improve the quality of our programs.

How are these programs funded and developed?

All of our programs are complementary. We are able to provide such high quality programs for free to patients and caregivers with the support of sponsors like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and educational grants. The programs are developed and presented by leading medical faculty.

Why can’t I get in on my Safari browser?

If you are seeing a message that says you are not allowed in and using a Safari browser, typically your cookies are being blocked by your browser. Safari is the only browser that sets this as a default.

To enable your cookies:
1. Please click the Safari menu in the top left corner of the screen.
2. From there, select Preferences and a separate window should pop up.
3. Click Privacy from the bar on the top.
4. On this window you should see an item that says “Block cookies:” towards the center. Next to this, select “Never”.

Once you select Never you can close this window and click on the presentation one more time. Now you will first see the disclosures information, followed by the pretest and the presentation.
